So this guy named John Irwin made this device that goes on his camera’s hot-shoot (that is the part on top of your camera where you can attach a big flash, also called a speedlite.) What this device does is hacks the firmware (software that runs the camera) so that when someone with a remote, that he made aswell, pushes the button it fires in video mode at somewhere like 1/93000s (that is extremely fast). The results are in the video (link) below. Check them out this is really cool to watch.
